As a passionate Collagist for me the finishing of pictures with a computer is an ideal work instrument. Creating new worlds means to me joining existing situations together. Everything already there? To a part that is correct. We live in a time of original pirate material.
Masks
Masks are nearly not conceivable without their wearers, who hide straight behind it. Material... the curtain... a veil before the individual, who is joined in the collectivity of the figure. I study how between masks and bearers a synthesis can be received, without the person becoming too much flesh and individual and without the masks are losing their mythological transparency. A connection, in which the separation between human-being and mask remains existing and not, at the same time... Body fragments 2003 In the connection of body gypsum castings, textile and body cutouts as well as painted backgrounds i try to break through linear time settings, the time continuum, which is considered as an illusion. I set individual body cutouts in relation to its generalisation of the cast. Carving the whole one up into individual parts forces the recipient, to search for the whole or the integrity of the represented humans and to create themselves again. Summary The simultaneousness of time and space condensed in created fusions : This technique presupposes a new looking, which permits the dissolution from identities to a new.
